Background of my Magazine.

I focused on the R&B genre for my magazine. I looked at many different magazines of this genre to try and influence me in the creation of my own magazine. There were two main magazines i focused on in this process. Firstly, i focused on Vibe magazine. I found that the magazine uses a clever house style which is used in order to attract and 'catch the eye' of the readers. The style is key in the production of a magazine, as it interacts hugely with the audience and persuades them to purchase the magazine. Another magazine I focused on was Billboard. Billboard magazine is smarty laid out and use sophisticated photos. These images have influenced me in the different pictures I have taken because the ones on the Billboard magazine are very well taken. Both magazines use different set colour schemes, which help make the magazine stand out greatly and makes it look very effective. For my magazine, I have chosen to stick to a certain colour scheme throughout to make it look professional and well laid out.
