Editors letter for School magazine- With Analysis

Hello and welcome!
The first edition of the new ‘EWS educational times’ has been published and has been a great success for the school as a whole. The past month has been a very busy one for everyone associated with the Elizabeth Woodville school. As you are aware, the formerly known schools of, Roade and Kingsbrook have been joined together in order to make education for the pupils much better. This magazine is the official school magazine for both campuses and will give you the inside knowledge each calendar month. As this is the first issue of the new school magazine, we will go through both campuses in great detail and have an insight of the different subjects they offer for further years, such as the sixth form and GCSE years. We will have a focus on the new uniform that pupils are expected to wear and we will give details of the dress code in the magazine. This will be for all school years plus the sixth form. Also in this issue, as the time of print was around the exam period, we decided to have a main focus on the exams students will be taking, and provide them with different tips to take their minds of the stressful times ahead. We will also provide them with different revision techniques, in which if they want the best possible grades in their exams should take these into account. Sixth formers from both campuses will ‘spill the beans’ about their secrets about life and about the school. Packed with 66 pages, this magazine is the best way to find information about your child’s school and the progress it is making, with regular OFSTED reports and Progress point data. From the magazine team, we hope you enjoy your first issue.
