History of Vibe magazine.

The magazine of vibe is that of the music and entertainment genre. It was launched in 1993.The magazine was produced by Quincy Jones.  It predominantly features R&B and hip hop information about their artists, actors and other entertainers.  The magazine came to a halt in 2009. The magazine was purchased by the private equality investment fund InterMedia Partners. The magazine targets a young audience, whilst urban and the hip-hop culture.  In 2008, Vibe had 80,000 readers, showing a mass audience that the magazine covers.  The magazine was highly known for its interesting and top quality front covers.  The magazine hosts a top range of numerous music artists on their magazines.  The magazine received numerous awards for the value of the magazines. In comparison, they also hosted numerous awarding ceremonies, which included, UPN and VH1 soul, and also they hosted the best rapper alive tournament.  In contrast, they publish numerous books and also have their very own 'music mixer' IPhone App.
